My New Beauty Crush: Evolve Beauty

As I'm sure you have worked out I'm a beauty junkie - I'm product obsessed, and I love nothing more than discovering something new that is utterly fabulous.  And now I seem to have developed a new beauty crush.... Evolve Beauty and their gorgeous, natural products that have been handcrafted in their studio in Hertfordshire. I’ve tried a few of their products but here are 4 that I'm loving and using daily right now.
The Evolve Philosophy: When you buy from Evolve Organic Beauty, you are buying a bottle full of care and passion. This is their promise to you:

NATURAL & ORGANIC
They believe that natural organic skincare ingredients are better for us than their synthetic alternatives. You can see the percentage of natural ingredients on the label of each product you buy from them.

ARTISAN MADE
They make small batches of skincare by hand in their artisan studio in Hertfordshire, which means that your skincare is fresher when you open the bottle. Every one of their products has a person’s name on the label, and that lovely human made your product for you. They are proud to be an independent British company and every time we send an order out  to their customers, they really care that it is perfect.

GREEN SCIENCE
We choose ‘green science’, the power of plants, over the synthetic alternatives you will find in most mass produced cosmetics and toiletries. Laura and Violaine in their development team together have over 30 years experience in formulating the most effective natural products. Their products are not just a pretty face, as they select active natural ingredients such as coconut peptides, natural hyaluronic acid, natural retinols from rosehips and our silicone-free hair serums.

REAL BEAUTY
Skincare should be enjoyable! Natural ingredients have such wonderful scents and textures and Evolve Beauty celebrate the beauty of them in the products that they create. They also want to help you get the most out of your beauty products by passing on beauty wisdom about how to use our products and look after your skin.

Gentle Cleansing Melt -£20

Picture
The Blurb: This luxurious cleansing balm contains nourishing organic baobab oil that soothes and hydrates. Natural sugar extracts gently combine with water to turn into a creamy milk that rinses away clean, leaving skin clean, calm and hydrated.

The texture is not like your usually solid balms or liquid cleanser, but a little inbetween. A little goes a long way and it smells divine.  I was concerned that it might cause breakouts because of its rich formulation - but my skin is glowing.  The magic happens when you add water after massaging the balm into your face, the cleanser turns into a milky consistency and washes away all traces of makeup (I'm not sure it would remove a waterproof mascara though).  Your skin will be left clean and supple, with no tightness at all.

Daily Defence Moisture Mist - £20

The Blurb: A potent facial mist with an organic Mexican cactuses' elixir to calm irritated skin whilst firming, protecting and increasing skin hydration. African Moringa peptides protect skin cells from pollutants and purify the skin. Hyaluronic Acid deeply hydrates.

I love a toner, and this one didn't disappoint.  It is suitable for all skin types.  I applied a light spray over my face after cleansing and before moisturising every morning and night. The first thing I noticed was how instantly cooling and refreshing it felt. The results were immediate and after 3 days I noticed my skin was looking more even and toned and my complexion much brighter.

I loved this product and happy to say I’ve found my perfect summer skincare essential.  It can also be used throughout the day over make-up, ideal for those stuck in stuffy offices, during a long flight or just as a refreshing pick-me-up.

Hyaluronic Serum 200 - £30

The Blurb: This pure clear serum for normal to dry skin contains 200mg hyaluronic acid per bottle, proven to hydrate skin from within and plump up fine lines and wrinkles. Organic pomegranate extract softens and protects. Delicately fragranced with organic rosewater.

If you are a reader of my blogs you will know that I'm a little obsessed with this molecule: hyaluronic acid,  So forget about using retinol and stem cells - this is hands down the best anti-ageing ingredient on the block.   And this little bottle is what is in my beauty routine right now.   This molecule can hold unto 1000 times its own weight in water, meaning that when applied in conjunction with other water based products it will plump the skin reducing fine lines and improve skin tone keeping the skin soft and supple.

Despite it’s thick, gel-like consistency, my skin sucked up this serum within seconds, and I love that it doesn’t leave my face feeling sticky or greasy.  My general evening routine is to start with the gentle cleanser, followed by this serum to work its magic overnight. For day time, I apply the serum before moisturising.  I've only recently starting using this product but am hoping to see improvement in my skins elasticity and hydration - I'll update the blog after I've been using for a couple of months.

Radiant Glow Organic Face Mask - £20

Picture
The Blurb: This rich mask blended with raw cacao powder and clay revitalises and purifies, whilst coconut granules buff the skin to silky perfection. Natural sugar extracts turn the exfoliating mask into a creamy milk on contact with water that rinses off easily, leaving skin smooth, moisturised and calm. Fragranced with Organic Vanilla oil.

This grainy brown mask looks kind of scary, but smells good enough to eat (but don't). It has raw cacao powder and clay to revitalise and purifiy skin, and small coconut granules to exfoliate. You just smooth it over cleansed skin and leave for ten minutes before rinsing. When you splash on some water, the natural sugar extracts turn the mask into a creamy milk.

My skin looked and felt so so smooth after I’d used this mask.   I would recommend using it in the bath, or before a shower, as it does get a bit messy!

I'm so pleased with these products that I will definitely be investing in more.

I'd love to know if you have used any Evolve Beauty products before?  If so which ones and what are your favourites.
